"Are you a properly licensed and insured provider?"

"Are staff members certified and background checked?"
- Employees are given an extensive background checks and recommendations from previous employers from all staff. Here at Tiny Town we do everything in our power to avoid such matters.
"What safety and security measures do you have in place?"
- You're first line of security will always be interaction with staff in some capacity. A staffed front desk is an easy way to see who's coming and going Safety and Security procedures we have in place are strategically placed video cameras, keyless entry and enhanced sign-in and sign-out procedures. Internal security concerns are non-slip surfaces and furniture that does not have sharp edges. External measures include approved parental/guardian pick-ups and entrances and exits kept locked with a buzzer to let you in. This method Prevents unauthorized people from entering the building. In addition, we have working fire extinguishers with regular fire drills to train teachers and students.
"Do Parents have access to camera system?"
- No, there are laws regarding privacy and recording people’s children without their consent. For enrollment each parent must agree to the consent form.video cameras are used as a deterrent to anyone who may have questionable intentions. We use video cameras to monitor entryways, community areas, classrooms, playground and surrounding building areas. However, in the case of a parent having an incident the Director, Teacher, and Parent will conference to review cameras.
"How much do you charge for childcare?"
- We charge by the day, the hour, or even weekly or monthly rates are available. All parents/guardians can contact Tiny Town Playhouse to discuss your exact needs and find out what you can expect to pay.
"What types of payments or vouchers do you accept?"
- Our standard payment options are cash, check, or credit card payments, this can also be paid online. We also work with Childcare Network programs to assist with payments.
"Are meals and/or snack provided?
-We offer organic food. Our nutrition standards are followed by the New Jersey state guidelines, children will be consuming healthy, delicious food at our child care setting.
"Do you have any enrichment programs?"
-Yes students can never get enough extracurricular activities. In our school, parents love the additional enrichment activities we offer. Some of them include yoga, Spanish language, music and more.
"What is your policy for illness?"
- Under no circumstances may a parent bring a sick child into daycare. If the child shows any signs of illness (see symptoms requiring removal of child from child care), or is unable to participate in the normal routine and regular daycare program.
"Can I check on my child during the day?"
